Al-sayed Mohammed Baqir Al-Sader was born in Baghdad / Al-Kadhimyia in 1353 AH ( 1935) , he lost his father at the age of fourth
In the fifties, Iraq suffered from the communism which concentrated on the war of religious beliefs and made hard efforts to pull out it from the hearts of nation, they had succeeded in achieving their aim because of the absence of the person who has the ability to stand against them till the coming of Al-sayed Mohammed Baqir Al-Sader who gave a great evidences through his writings to refute their aims. Listed below some of his writings
One: our philosophy: he wrote this book on 29 Rabi' Al-Thani 1379 AH , it consists of a precise and subjective study about the basis of Marxian philosophy he said"
our philosophy is a group of our basic concepts about the world and the way of its thinking
Two : our economy: he cured the internal philosophy problems in his struggle in writing his book (our philosophy) , his struggle consists of the economic theories in addition to the philosophy problems , the communism presents the theories and also the capitalism does and Islam stays aggrieved among them so this book became an active element in the struggle field and a weapon for Muslims in their war against disbelief and deviation
The unjust system in Iraq tried to arrest him in 1971 but his sever illness made them put the chains in his hand and sent him to the hospital for a short time, then they arrested him once again in 1974 when his popularity increased in Iraq therefore they arrested him in Al-Najaf and took him to Baghdad to make an investigation with him
The tyrant Saddam was afraid of Al-sayed Mohammed Baqir Al-Sader because his existence was as a nightmare to him so he arrested him and his sister Amena bint Al-huda on 5/4/1980 and took them to Baghdad and killed both of them on 9/4/1980 . they had been buried in Al-Najaf
Note: He had forbidden the people from affiliating to Al-Ba'th party and said: if my finger belongs to Al-Ba'th party I will cut it and this is one reason behind his martyrdom
