Muharram will knock the doors, we'll wear the black clothes, desert the adornment and delicacies, we'll put the dust on our heads, some people will hit their heads by the bayonets, other people will desert eating and drinking, and other great rites which some lovers do in all parts of the Islamic world not only in Iraq or Iran; I ask God to accept your works O the brothers in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Egypt, the Arabian Gulf, Lebanon, and Indonesia… etc, and in some Arabic and African countries as well as Maghreb and some regions in Europe and north and south America. May your Imams grant you with best reward. Before these things be rites, they're as a consolation for the family of the prophet Mohammed, Ali, Fatima, and their progeny for what happened for them from Injustice and affliction from the unjust at that time, they " the rites" embody the loyalty and loving, in addition they "rites" enrage the enemies , so any person performs these rites will be example, or proof for the noble verse " nor do they tread on any ground that enrages the disbelievers, nor do they inflict upon an enemy any infliction but that is registered for them as a righteous deed. Indeed, Allah does not allow to be lost the reward of the doers of good. " Naturally, all these rites whether crying, showing the sadness, making the others cry on Imam Hussein , hitting the heads by the bayonets , hitting the chests by our hands , publishing the blackness, and the other legitimate rites ,not the hated rites, which are compatible with the Islamic law and which are conformable with the instructions of our Imams "P.B.U.T" . it was mentioned " who cried, showed the sadness, made the others cry; he will enter the paradise " and there're many Ahadith1 , narration, and the legal rules which are known for many people, therefore, we must insist and continue in these great rites and we should not be affected by what some people said or what they're saying now whether inside the sect " Shiite sect" or outside it. According to my understanding, these rites are like the solid outer layer which protects the core of the religion and sect and if the outer layer be lost, of course the core will be affected; neglecting these rites is not from the wisdom, so don’t neglect them in any way, but you have to pay attention to the following: First: Some people invent some rites that are not acceptable by our religious guides and this may raise the sedition and distort the reputation, also it's considered a heresy and it's forbidden as all people know. Second: You should apply and do these rites in moral ways which don’t make the others avoid these rites in any way, because the first benefit of these rites is to guide the others not make them hate these rites. Third: We face an attack from the enemies of Prophet Mohammed's family, so that, we should intensify these rites and show them to the whole world in united and organized way and should be in huge numbers and awesome, and the other things that the beautiful Islamic rites apply them, but the most important thing is paying the attention to the following: God made the rites, he said in Qur'an: "And whoever honors the symbols of Allah - indeed, it is from the piety of hearts." And it's divided into two parts: The general rites: I mean "Al-Ĥaj" - Haj is the house of God – [pilgrimage] and it differs from the second in some points: First: Al-Ĥaj [pilgrimage] is obligatory, the second section isn't obligatory, but it becomes obligatory in some situations. Second: : Al-Ĥaj [pilgrimage] is for all Muslims where they come from every distant pass and they may witness benefits for themselves and mention the name of Allah on known days over what he has provided for them of bounties in general . The rite of : Al-Ĥaj contains some rituals or steps like: circumambulation, walking between Safa and al-Marwah, and stoning…etc. All these rites represent, embody, and symbolize to something or to things; circumambulation for example represents the theism, walking between Safa and al-Marwah represents the applying of the Islamic Sharia, Ihram represents leaving the desires of life, and stoning represents disobeying of Satan and deny him and declaring the hostility against him..etc. As well as that the best prayer that prohibits immorality and wrongdoing; the finest prayer that makes the slave closes to his God more and more. The rituals will not be the best if the material Ihram doesn’t make the person leave the desires of life not only during Ihram, but the real believer who continue in leaving these desires of life after Ihram directly otherwise he’ll be example for the speech of the poet : Ramadan is over give me it (wine) O the cupbearer longing wants longing Also, if the person after the circumambulation becomes monotheist in his doings and worships …etc , and leave the material and incorporeal polytheism, so this circumambulation will be the best, such as in stoning where there are many people stone Satan while they're sinking in the desires of life and they 're in the best levels of obeying Satan, because stoning Satan with stone is not everything, but the most important thing is that the Muslim must disobey the smallest and greatest Satan alike in all his actions and stillness in secret and public The second one: the special rites which by them God selects his beloveds from believers who followed the right way; this kind of rites is not obligatory, but it possesses an extra feature from the previous section where that in the first section, the life benefits are available, God said (That they may witness benefits for themselves) as well as for the incorporeal things God said (and mention the name of Allah…) , while the second section of the rites is pure (only for God) and it has no any life benefit or personal benefit, but the one who does these rites for the hypocrisy and renown, all his deeds will be worthless and his rites will be decadent . At the same time, the second division of rites corresponds to first one by including several rites: Meaning that is the variety in non-duty rites beginning from crying and ending with Tatbir, each rite has symbolic mean. The crying is symbol of sorrow and refusing the oppression that happened against Ahlulbayt. The wearing and spreading the darkness (black) represent the belonging to right side that represented by infallible Imam at that time. Tatbir represents the participating in the battle of Taff against the void and its followers. The walking o Imam Hussein’s shrine clearly mean the obedience. But all these may be unfruitful unless there are practical as Al-Haj (pilgrimage) rites. If anyone who does Tatbir give up the right in the land of battle so actually there is no benefit from his Tatbir. Also who wears the black cloths can’t belong to right without obedience and worship. Concerning to the walking to Imam Hussein means an applying his system and follow his advice otherwise God doesn’t accept the walking. Woe be toe those who walk to Imam Hussein and he doesn’t apply Gods law as boycotts the prayer, fast and relationship with relative, and who lie a lot etc. But I don’t prohibit those who disobey from doing these rites because they may lead them to light and guide them to right way even ahlulbayt enemies as jailor story with Imam Al-Kahdim when he was guided by imam. We should promise to God to be good example of those who do the rites by following the infallible way and applying God’s law otherwise we will be losers even though we were doing the rites. But the punishment of those who do the sin and loves infallibles (Ahlulbayt) is more severe than those who hate them… And say, Do [as you will], for Allah will see your deeds, and [so, will] His Messenger and the believers… The last prayers are the praise be to God who keep us on the right way. Oh God, we ask you the stability and martyrdom with our Imam Al-Mahdi. Muqtada Al-Sadr 1Muharram 1436 [/frame]
