Speech of Al-Sayyid Muqtada Al-Sadr about Al-Imam Al-Mahdi on 28/3/2021- night of fifteen of month of Sha'ban1442 A.H

I seek refuge in Allah from the cursed Satan

Blessing of Allah be upon His best creatures Muhammad and his family

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

In the beginning, I'd like to congratulate the human and Islamic world on the anniversary of birth of Al-Imam Al-Mahdi I sacrifice my soul for him, then I want to highlight on important case which benefits the society especially Al-Shia Al-Imamiya who follow the messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him and upon his family) and follow his trustee Ali Bin Abi Talib (peace of Allah be upon him) which their doctrine is characterized by complete conviction in the case of Al-Imam Al-Mahdi may Allah hasten his faraj, that doctrine which has uniqueness in this case with its deep details in spite of all doctrines and religions believe in the existence of world savior who save them from all afflictions and sins, the Shiah doctrine believe a certain belief in the existence of Al-Imam Al-Mahdi and believe that he is in occultation, the major occultation after the end of minor occultation and there is a day of appearance in which Al-Imam Al-Mahdi spreads the justice in all world. Yes, the savior, the savior of all (not Shiah only) from oppression, tyranny, dictatorships and wars and the like but the case is: -The case of Al-Imam Al-Mahdi in the sight of some may face an essential and important ambiguity which is: Why Al-Imam Al-Mahdi doesn't appear? -Doesn't he know or isn't he acquainted with what happen to his shiah but even to all world? -Doesn't he know what they suffer from trials, difficulties and wars and the like? -Isn't it suitable to appear to fill the earth and world with justice instead of filling with injustice? -Isn't it his day? Isn't it his time? Isn't it the date of his appearance to save the world? -Doesn't the humanity need him to appear and save them? This ambiguity is existent inside and outside the doctrine, maybe we can answer through some matters which may benefit in this level or from this side, from the side of this ambiguity. There is principle which called principle of desert, if the mankind deserves his appearance then he will appear, and if they don't deserve then he will not appear, of course when the society is ready and prepared for the appearance, this will be if there is high desert for this sacred appearance, so he doesn't appear because there is no desert for the appearance, it benefits as an answer and there is another one which we can say it: He (may Allah hasten his faraj) waits the order from Allah Glory to Him to appear and the order didn't issue but why it didn't issue? In my opinion, his followers and shiah don't deserve the appearance but even all world don't deserve his sacred appearance, the world was filled with sins and large number from them don't have conviction in him and in his appearance and he is the savior and the like, many people raise accusations, ambiguities and suspicions about his disappearance, appearance and existence and the like, all that will prevent the existence of desert which it (desert) will be a reason from reasons of his appearance (peace be upon him). So never appearance is because of the society doesn't deserve to it, otherwise he is acquainted with what happen to his shiah and followers, and if he is acquainted so why doesn’t he appear to save them? So there is decline in the level of his shiah, followers and army and the like from titles which are mentioned in the narrations or what is familiar socially, so the society needs to some integration and desire to his appearance, at his appearance and work to his appearance through paving the way to him, paving the way isn't easy but difficult, if he appeared and his shiah isn't in required level God forbids! This will lead to lose him as his fathers and grandfathers were lost before him. Therefore we should be ready to be reason from reasons of his appearance (peace of Allah be upon him), I consider this reason is reason of integration, obedience and repent to Allah and to Al-Imam, so the sincere believer who believes in the case of Al-Imam Al-Mahdi should repent, that is to be ready from all sides not the military one only, but from faith and creed side and the like. We can say another thing that he doesn't appear and there is no order from Allah Glory to Him for never appearance because Allah isn't satisfied on large class from the society and Al-Imam isn't satisfied on his followers and those who claim belongingness to him, otherwise if he was satisfied on them, he would appear and save them from these afflictions and problems, we see the society doesn't remember him in many situations, (remembering Al-Imam Al-Mahdi) as if he isn't alive imam till our present days, it is necessary to return to Al-Imam in important matters even though he is disappearing even through invocation for his appearance, appeal for him and the like, even it was said: the one who remembered him in severe affliction, he will be saved from this affliction and the like. If he wasn't satisfied on us so what will we do? Either the life will be meaningless or we seek for integration, we returned once again to the integration, we should integrate and reform our state before Al-Imam Al-Mahdi appears suddenly by order of Allah then what will happen? Maybe some people tell him: return from where you had come O son of daughter of messenger of Allah, at that time, there is no door for repentance nor salvation and nothing will benefit us. So the integration is necessary, seeking for obedience, forgiveness the sins and repent to Allah, all that are useful and required, the believers should seek for them to pave the way for appearance of Al-Imam Al-Mahdi may Allah hasten his faraj. Yes, severe insistence isn't required, as it was narrated: I don't want to hasten what You want to delay nor delay what You want to hasten, but we remain waiting for him (peace of Allah be upon him) we invoke to him secretly and publicly, remembering him day and night because remembering him is obedience to Allah of course with return to Allah in His Sharia, rules and religion and in morals and in everything which is considered a door from integration doors, may Allah reward you the best reward

Muqtada Al-Sadr
