The Friday sermon of Al-Sayyid Muqtada Al-Sadr on 4/3/2022

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

From the speech of master of trustees, prince of believers Ali Bin Abi Talib (peace be upon him): (The people are two kinds: either a brother to you in religion or an equal to you in creation). Hence, the voice of Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf should rise loudly to demand for the peace in all world, enough war and blood and the weapon should be put aside. Hence, it is necessary to us to pray to Allah the High, the Almighty to bestow upon all countries who suffer from wars as the brother Yemen which the brotherhood in religion gathers us firstly, then we specify our equals in creation I mean: (Ukraine) which suffer from Russian lethal weapon directly and suffer from afflictions because of the American policies there. Hence, we pray to Allah the High, the Almighty to avoid all people the afflictions of wars and bestows upon them with safety and peace What happen in Ukraine from suffering of people and civilians is shameful matter therefore the International Organizations should take that into account and demand a truce for them to get out the dead and wounded from both parties and deliver the food and medical things to them as soon as possible. I can't fail to call the Russian forces to reconsider its decision in the war and work seriously for dialogue with its neighbor Ukraine whereas the dialogue and mind are praised characteristic in all religions and prophets Moses, Jesus and Muhammad peace be upon all of them, peace be upon people of peace
