In the name of Allah

And we have made the heaven
a guarded canopy and ( yet ) they turn aside from its signs ) Surah : Al-Anbiya' : The prophet
The God referred to a great grace that is the atmosphere layer which is surrounding the earth ( a guarded canopy ) whereas it protects the human from the deadly rays come from the cosmic space
The modern science proved that the atmosphere consists of four layers : ( Troposphere , Stratosphere , Mesosphere ,and Thermosphere ) and the Stratosphere layer contains of the ozone which protects the creatures on the earth from the ultraviolet ray whereas all creatures will die without the ozone layer
The modern science emphasized this idea while it was mentioned in the holy Qur'an ( the miracle of our prophet Mohammed )since the date of being a messenger of God
