Raise of prices because of raise the exchange rate of dollar … The speech of Iraqi leader Al-Sayyid Muqtada Al-Sadr in his account in Twitter on 16/2/2022
In the name of Allah
Peace be upon Iraq and its people
Having said that
After raise the exchange rate of dollar and its benefits and harms, its raise should not be reason for raise the prices in the markets especially the important goods which the people need them in their daily life
The economic security should punish each one who does that from merchants and the like according to law especially the blessed month of Ramadan is upcoming; the government should deal firmly with the violators whoever the doer
The merchants should take care of the people not their money and don't be greedy because they are responsible in front of Allah, people and all of us; the most important thing is that the people should live in dignity, pride and luxury; the poor class should be taken into consideration who barely get their sustenance through ration card and through never raise the prices of important goods especially the vegetables, grains and building materials and the like, whereas even though there is benefit in raise the exchange rate of dollar but it shouldn't be at the expense of people, poor and needy otherwise it will be oppression
