The death \ The speech of Muqtada Al-Sayyid Muhammad Al-Sadr in his account in Twitter on 27/3/2021 In the name of Allah The death The death isn't restricted on Muslims only, inevitability of death is unanimous matter, many verses in Holly Qur'an referred to that as His speech: For everything on the earth is extinction, and eternal is the Entity of your Lord, the Most Majestic and the Most Honorable Also His speech: (Death will come to you wherever you may be, even if you were in strong fortresses) It is clear that there are wisdom and lesson in (death) which we should get benefit from it, from these wisdoms are The first wisdom: The one who know that vanishing is his end then he will stay away from present life and its ornament and pleasure The second wisdom: If there is no death then the person will feel that there is no end to his works and life, he may get frustrated and bored as carpenter or blacksmith or dressmaker who knows that he will not finish his work and continue forever, besides to the difficulty of that, his work will be in vain and useless The third wisdom: The death is motive for good deed whereas Allah said: And seek help in patience and prayer; and truly it is hard except for those prostrate before Me with sincerity, who know that they have to meet their Lord, and that it is to Him they are return It means there is motive to the prayer in particular and to the worship in general for each one who know that he will meet his Lord and to Him he will return The fourth wisdom: The death or as it is expressed about it (the calamity of death) is opposite the eternity, the eternity is manifestation from Allah's manifestations Glory to Him, He specified it for two matters The first: For the chosen from His slaves only, even though it wasn't applied in the life and it doesn't contradict with speech of Allah: (Indeed -dear Muhammad- you will taste death and they -the disbelievers- will die too) And to remove the contradiction, we should know many matters, from them The first matter: The death of infallibles and chosen differs relatively from the familiar death, it is near to the annihilation than familiar death The second matter: The infallibles are annihilating in Allah, the death may contradict with annihilation in some degrees and agree with it in other degrees The third matter: Their death depends on the deserts of mankind therefore they die killed not natural death, therefore martyrdom was prescribed to them through killing or any other deed of mankind deeds after Allah chose them to Himself because mankind don't deserve their existence and Allah knows The second: Allah specified the eternity in the second life (afterlife) not in the present life, therefore there are verses refer to the eternity of some believers in the Paradise whereas Allah said: (For such the reward is forgiveness from their Lord, and Gardens beneath which rivers flow, abiding in it forever, what an excellent reward for the performers (of good deeds) also the eternity of disbelievers in the Fire as in the Allah's speech: (Remaining in it forever; their punishment will not be lightened, nor will they get any respite) and other verses which refer to that clearly The fifth wisdom: The death is considered the end to the creation, there is remind in it that Allah has the beginning of creation and their end and death The sixth wisdom: The death is releasing the soul from its material ties or –say- releasing from the body, then it will transcend and integrate, it also be free especially those whose souls are pure , they consider that a type of capacity in integration and sovereignty doors I satisfy in what I mentioned above from lessons and wisdom which relate to death, but it is most important to mention Hadeeth and narrations about desirability of mentioning death, it narrated in Hadeeth Increase from mentioning the destroyer of pleasures. It was said: O messenger of Allah: what is the destroyer of pleasures? He said: death, the sagacious believer is one who increase from mentioning the death and ready for it Also in Hadeeth: (the best asceticism in present life is mentioning the death, the best worship is mentioning death, the best thinking is mentioning death, the one which the death overburdened him, he will find his grave as garden from Paradise gardens.) Also narrated on prince of believers peace be upon him: (You are runaway from death which no one can run away from it, it will come to you, so be careful that it comes to you and you are in bad situation, you were talking with yourself about repentance then it prevents you from that then you had perished yourself, O my son increase from mentioning the death and what are after it till your death befalls you and you were careful from it and back you up with it, and it never come to you suddenly then confuse you). From these hadeeths and narrations and other generally and what we mentioned from trustee of messenger of Allah we can summarize the required benefit from (mentioning the death) and they are many matters and from them First: Preparedness to death then it doesn't come to you suddenly Second: Take caution of it Third: Hastening to repentance before death which you mention Fourth: Destroying to life pleasures and staying away from loving it Fifth: Mentioning the dead especially the pious from them Sixth: Believing in afterlife, Doomsday, judgment, Paradise and Fire Seventh: Staying away from inattention and loss in the present life Eighth: Sadness and weeping because they are considered regret on the sins Ninth: Eagerness to meet Allah, prophets, messengers, guardians and pious Tenth: Remembering the grave and there are many lessons in it as asceticism, humbleness , fear, submissiveness and the like Eleventh: There is submission to Allah's Ability and all return to Him as they begin from Him, and others from many benefits which all shouldn't be inattentive from them Twelfth: There is important lesson in death that is no one can escape from it then it refers to cringing the human in front of sciences and progress but even in front of Allah Glory to Him and it may be on two levels The first: The death by natural reasons as diseases and accident The second: Killing, if it is in Allah's way then its results will be different than the natural death from many sides such as The first side: Being as life as in the honorable verse: And do not ever assume that those who are killed in Allah's cause, are dead; in fact they are alive with their Lord, receiving sustenance The second side: There is a great result in it that is forgiving the sins according to **** from Holy Qur'an: So their Lord accepted their prayer, for I do not waste the efforts of any (righteous) worker, male or female; you are all one among yourselves; so those who migrated and were driven out from their homes and were harassed in My cause, and fought, and were killed – I will certainly wipe out all their sins and will certainly admit them into Paradises beneath which rivers flow; a reward from Allah; and only with Allah is the best reward The third side: the rules of dead don't apply on the killed or martyr with the infallible peace be upon him as shrouding and washing and others which concern the death or killing without the condition which mentioned above even it was called him martyr in general meaning O Allah grant martyrdom to us with your hujja and guardian Al-Imam Al-Mahdi Al-Muntadhar, may Allah hasten his faraj The demander to the martyrdom Muqtada Al-Sadr
