In the name of Allah , the Beneficent
the Merciful
( I swear by the sun and its brilliance ) Surah : Al-Shams : the sun
Here God swore by the sun and its brilliance
in rhetorical style which is considered one of the modern physical facts
This swear refers to the greatness of the sun , we see that God put the word (and) between the sun and its brilliance , does this mean that the sun as a planet differs from its brilliance . we can find the answer in the modern physics science in which the speed of light is 300000 K/S, we see the sun after 8 light minutes ( it is the period of reaching the light of sun to us ) we can't realize the sun and its site at the same moment but after reaching its light to us
The brilliance is the spreading of sun light
when sun rises and spreading its light in every where
The modern science emphasized this idea while it was mentioned in the holy Qur'an ( the miracle of our prophet Mohammed )since the date of being a messenger of God
